Pablo is very professional and came back to do another estimate closer to the date of the work and then a third time to make sure of the dimensions. We have a VERY old townhouse (built in 1900) and this back door was extremely old. It hadn't originally been framed properly and the deadbolt went into the trim. So, we were extremely happy to have a new door framed and put in correctly. Pablo and his team were excellent. They showed up on time and worked diligently throughout the day. What we thought would take 2-4 hours actually ended up taking almost 8 hours since they had found that they needed to do more work (chipping the brick and shaving some of the drywall) to make the door fit. They hung new trim and spackled the drywall, repainted the outside/inside, and caulked everything so it was sealed. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone doing work to their home. We are actually having them come this morning to finish up the sanding and painted the interior of the door (they needed to let it dry) so I can't wait to see the finished product. We first contacted them because we were coming off a very bad experience with another contractor. Joyce and Pablo were a complete 180 from that. Joyce initially came out for the consult, measured, listened to what we wanted and what our budget was. Then if we wanted to move forward there was a $200 fee for design (which would eventually be carried over in to the cost of the project). When the first design came back, we had a few tweaks and Joyce was very willing to make changes to accomodate our wants and our budget (less concrete, pea gravel alternative). We loved the tweaked design and the time frame they were willing to complete the work so we moved forward with the contract. Once the work commenced, the crew was on time, all the time and very professional. Joyce was there to oversee all of the work and it was a pleasure seeing her there each day just in case we had any questions (when we did have questions or tweaks, they were answered/addressed in a timely manner). They even did extra work with our nieghbor (who was splitting the cost of the shared fence). When Pablo would come by, he would inspect the work that was done and at some times make changes such as when he had the crew rebuild the roof because he wanted more support. Another item of note is how clean Machioli is throughout the project. They always clean and debris or trash after every day of work. It is very important to them. A : Absolutely! Permits garantee that your project is being built to National Building Codes. City inspections could be viewed as an insurance policy. Inspection of the work performed ensures that the project is being built for your specifications.

A : It usually takes 1 to 3 months dependent on kitchen size and details involved in the project. The first step is to take measurements. We then supply the customer with a 3-dimentional sketch so they can better envision their future kitchen. We also provide a sample of the cabinet door, with the wood color and style that the customer had chosen. After appoval, we move on with the process. Building custom cabinets can take 4 to 8 weeks (depending on the size and the amount of detail in the kitchen). Next we install the custom cabinets, floors, countertops, plumbing, electrical which can take another 4 to 6 weeks.
